Ready for an adrenaline rush right by Lake Balaton (Balaton)? Buckle up and hit the track in Balatonvilágos, where the go-kart circuit combines thrilling entertainment with heart-pounding races for all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a newcomer or consider yourself a pro driver, this nearly 1,640-foot (500-meter) track delivers excitement at every turn, especially with its steeply banked curve that stands out as a highlight for every racer. The pit lane is fully covered, making entries and exits cool and comfortable, even on the hottest summer days. This spot is perfect for company outings, family get-togethers, or just a wild time with friends.
Booking, Racing, and Technology on Track
You can sign up for races both online and in person, but why risk waiting around? The pre-booking system secures your spot and keeps waiting times to a minimum—although unexpected weather or other issues can always throw a curveball. Walk-in bookings are possible as well, but you might have to wait if the day is already busy. Your reservation isn’t official until you’ve received a written confirmation, so keep an eye on your inbox!
Track your personal bests and total wins by downloading the Activity Box app, which also delivers real-time updates on leaderboard changes and top lap times. For those who love to keep up with every millisecond, Full HD displays around the facility track your results, announce upcoming heats, and keep the competition fierce.
Refueling Off the Track
Feeling peckish after a hard-fought lap? The track’s unique snack bar is an old articulated IKARUS 280 bus (legendary in Budapest), now fully air-conditioned and retrofitted with classic bus seats for an unbeatable view of the action. Cold drinks are always on hand—grab a Coke, Red Bull, or HELL energy drink if you want to stay sharp, or unwind after racing with Peroni beer or a local wine (just don’t drink before you drive; no go-karting under the influence!). You’ll also find coffee, snacks, chocolates, and the always-popular ICE n Go ice cream.
Step out onto the shaded terrace with plenty of seating, where you can watch friends speed by or just soak up the summer atmosphere. There’s also a coded locker system, so you can safely stash your valuables while racing.
