Take a sensory trip around the world with LISTEN — A Musical Journey Around the World, an exhibition that dives into how people live, celebrate, and mourn across 30 countries. Created from ten years of documentary footage by Garry Bassin and Tomoko Yamaguchi, it features over a hundred performers filmed in breathtaking locations from Belize to India, Crete (Krétá) to Patagonia.
Immersive Sounds and Sights
The experience goes beyond screens, blending video scenes with sound installations, objects, and specially designed spaces. Visitors can step directly into the rhythms and rituals of global cultures, experiencing each community’s everyday life and celebrations.
Hungarian and Global Voices
It’s not just an international lineup—Hungarian talents like Marta Sebestyen (Sebestyén Márta), Felix Lajko (Lajkó Félix), and Parno Graszt also appear, sharing their music alongside international artists. LISTEN is personal yet collective: different instruments, the same raw emotions, proving how music connects people everywhere.
