Wine Wednesday (Borszerda), one of the Hungarian National Gallery’s most beloved programs, is popping the cork again this summer for art and wine enthusiasts. On July 23, from 6 PM to 10 PM, visitors can wander through the gallery, glass in hand, and take in both masterpieces and panoramic city views.
Nature Meets Culture
This year’s penultimate event spotlights the exhibition “Habitat. Nature and Landscape Constructions” (“Élőhely. Természet- és tájkonstrukciók”). The show delves into the ecological crisis, raising tough questions about how nature and culture are connected. It re-examines this relationship through the lens of past centuries’ ideas about the landscape, blended with today’s eco-conscious perspectives.
Fine Wine, Fabulous Views
Laposa Estate (Laposa Birtok), renowned for its outstanding Hungarian wines, will keep glasses filled all evening. Guests can enjoy their favorites, mingle with other art lovers, and be inspired by works that challenge how we see the world—and our place in it.
