Ready for a prehistoric adventure? In the sunny, flower-filled town of Gyula (Gyula), right by the Körös Canal (Körös-csatorna), dinosaurs have taken over the local forest. Not just any old models—these are life-sized, realistic dinosaurs with museum-level detail. They move, growl, and bare their massive teeth at startled visitors and at each other, making the whole experience a bit thrilling for both kids and adults. Gathering more than thirty dinosaurs together in one forest isn’t for the faint-hearted!
Unforgettable Family Time
The Dinosaur Park (Dinó Park) in Gyula (Gyula) is perfect for families and guarantees excitement for all ages. Whether your little one dreams of being a dinosaur tamer or you’re simply looking for somewhere to walk among ancient “dragons,” this place packs adventure, science, and pure enjoyment into every corner. After you’ve had your fill of dino thrills, you’ll find the Dino Farm courtyard (Dínó Farm udvar) waiting with over 30 different outdoor games. From water bumper cars (dodgems) and dino bone-digging excavations to giant slides and Berg go-karts, you’re spoiled for choice—and every single game is free and unlimited with your entry ticket!
When, Where, and How Much?
The Dinosaur Park (Dinó Park) is open every day from 10 am to 5:30 pm, regardless of the weather (dinosaurs, it seems, don’t mind rain). Entry is free for children under two, a flat rate of $13.20 for everyone aged 2–75, and just $2.67 for anyone over 75. Groups of 20 or more get a discount, paying just $9.45 each. If you live in Gyula (Gyula), you can get an annual pass for $26.31. Entry tickets include free parking, unlimited use of every game and attraction, and of course, up-close encounters with internationally certified, scientifically accurate dinosaurs.
Bonus Features and Fine Print
If you get a VIP ticket, remember it’s strictly one per family per visit, and it can’t be sold or transferred. Bad weather (rain, storms, or strong winds) might affect a few attractions, but don’t expect a refund—the park doesn’t offer them! You can buy tickets on-site at any time during the season, from mid-July until mid-October.
