The renowned director is turning seventy on July 21. To honor his birthday, a special event will take place between July 18 and 21, putting Tarr’s body of work back on the big screen. Audiences will not only get to experience his most well-known films—such as Sátántangó (Satan’s Tango), Werckmeister harmóniák (Werckmeister Harmonies), and A torinói ló (The Turin Horse)—but some rarely seen gems will also be shown.
