Looking for a wildly creative and entertaining family outing in Budapest next summer? MiniPolisz, the interactive playhouse and exhibition just 330 feet from Deák Square (Deák tér) on Király Street (Király utca), has you covered. From July 23 to 27, 2025, families can dive into a vibrant mini-city designed especially for children aged 3 to 12, open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (with several open and closed dates throughout July—check ahead!). It’s easy to get there by car or public transport, and there’s even a convenient underground parking garage beneath the venue.

Try 30 Real-Life Professions — No Adults Allowed!

MiniPolisz isn’t your average playhouse. Here, kids can swap places with grown-ups and try nearly 30 different “adult” careers—think cashier, mechanic, TV announcer, florist, or even world superstar. While they run the shop or deliver mail, friendly guides help them with everything from fire safety to fueling a car, budgeting, recycling, and shopping on their own. For a few hours, everyday life is turned upside down, sparking their imagination in unforgettable ways.

Family Fun, Perks for Grandparents

Gift tickets make perfect surprises and are valid for six months from the date of purchase. Grandparents get in free as chaperones, and children under one year old are welcome at no cost too. So, gather parents and grandparents alike—it’s time to let the little ones rule their own city!

2025, adrienne
