The photo exhibition “Holy Places” (Szentelt helyek) brings to life the results of a massive research program, combining the efforts of the Archdiocesan Library and Archives of Veszprém and the Hungarian Museum of Architecture and Monument Documentation Center. The ambitious project’s main goal? A free, scientifically-sound database that thoroughly covers every single church in the Archdiocese of Veszprém (Veszprémi Főegyházmegye).

Visual Journey Through Ecclesiastical Heritage

This stunning show, after impressing crowds in Veszprém and Sümeg, is now open to visitors in Budapest. The exhibition presents a rich selection of images collected during this extensive research, offering everyone a glimpse into the architectural and spiritual treasures of the region’s churches.

Catch It Before It’s Gone

You can immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring images until August 31. Don’t miss the chance to experience a unique blend of history, architecture, and culture through the lens of the visual archive assembled by the collaborating institutions.
