The 29th annual Music-Wine (Zene-Bor) celebration comes to Budapest in grand style on December 30, 2025. This beloved tradition is crowned with a gala concert by the world-renowned 100-Member Gypsy Orchestra (100 Tagú Cigányzenekar), whose season-ending performance promises their signature virtuosic gypsy melodies, beloved classical pieces, and uniquely orchestrated folk songs that only they can perform.
Legendary Sound, Classic Melodies
The evening’s program features favorites from Ferenc Lehár and Imre Kálmán, performed with flair by stars from the Hungarian Operetta Theatre. The night reaches its peak under the baton of József Lendvai Csócsi, as the orchestra electrifies the hall with unmissable performances like “The Lark” (Pacsirta) and the “Radetzky March,” all enhanced by a dazzling fireworks display. This year’s concert is especially significant, marking the orchestra’s 40th anniversary—guests can expect both an audio and visual spectacle.
Fine Dining Meets Fine Music
A welcome drink awaits every guest. For those craving culinary delights alongside world-class music, a festive wine dinner is offered—think foie gras torchon, Mangalica ham, guinea fowl consommé, bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin with porcini sauce, and pumpkin seed choux for dessert. Vegetarian options are available upon request. A lighter cold platter featuring foie gras, salmon gravlax, goat cheese tart, and salads is served in certain seating categories. Local wines, mineral water, and coffee accompany all menus.
Ticket Tiers for Every Taste
Tickets range from exclusive VIP tables with dinner and wine at $229 to balcony seats starting at $50. Organizers reserve the right to make seating and program changes as necessary, including expanding eight-person tables to nine if demand is high—unless the entire table is sold as a unit.
