It’s the 29th edition of Budapest’s legendary MUSIC & WINE (ZENE-BOR) festival, lighting up December 30, 2025, with a festive gala featuring the world-famous 100-Member Gypsy Orchestra (100 Tagú Cigányzenekar). The grand season finale takes place at 1-3 Jagelló Street, and by now, this event is truly a tradition.
An Unforgettable Musical Lineup
The two-part concert blends virtuosic gypsy music, classical favorites, and folk tunes—all uniquely rearranged and delivered with that unmatched 100-Member sound. Crowd-pleasing pieces by Ferenc Lehár and Imre Kálmán get a special twist from star soloists of the Operetta Theater, giving this gala a dazzling operetta flair. As midnight approaches, József Lendvai Csócsi leads the orchestra in their signature show-closers: The Lark (Pacsirta) and the Radetzky March, topped off with a fireworks display.
Gastronomy to Match the Music
Arrive to a welcome drink; while the music plays, those craving more than melodies can join the 40th anniversary celebration with exquisite wines and a gourmet dinner or a lavish cold platter. Dishes include foie gras torchon with candied orange chutney and Hungarian mangalica ham; guinea fowl consommé; bacon-wrapped mangalica pork tenderloin with porcini sauce; and pumpkin seed choux with raspberries for dessert. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
