Pink isn’t just a color—it’s a statement. Opening July 31, the As Long As It’s Pink (Addig, amíg rózsaszín) exhibition dives deep into pink’s subtle layers in design culture, showcasing both consumer goods and art pieces that have defined the shade’s cultural meaning.
Pink Icons from Past and Present
Among the nearly forty objects on display: a 150-year-old Zsolnay (Zsolnay) wine jug, the KitchenAid stand mixer famously marketed as a dream gadget for women, and a glass piece from the Czech KLIMCHI (KLIMCHI) brand that made its cinematic debut in the 2023 blockbuster, Barbie.
Beyond the Display
Running until September 9, the event promises a journey through the cultural history of pink. The experience doesn’t stop there: on August 14, a clothing brand focused on magnesium slow living will make an appearance, and on the morning of August 16, guided exhibition tours will offer even more ways to immerse yourself in all things pink.
