On September 21, 2025, the Park Experience Run (Liget Élményfutás) will transform Budapest’s City Park (Városliget) into a giant playground for runners of all ages. The race isn’t just about speeding through nature; the course winds its way past—and even through—some of the park’s most stunning buildings, from Vajdahunyad Castle (Vajdahunyad vára) and the House of Music (Magyar Zene Háza) all the way to Millennium House (Millennium Háza).
Obstacle Fun for Everyone
Back for its fifth year, the event offers two action-packed routes: a 4.35-mile (7 km) course featuring 23 experience points, and a 2.17-mile (3.5 km) course with 14 adventure stops. Participants will tackle creative obstacles, turning the run into pure playground fun. Whether you’re drawn by the dazzling architecture, the thrill of the obstacles, or just a lively day outside, this running event promises more than your regular jog in the park.
