Between August 30 and October 5, two Korea-themed exhibitions explore the country’s deep cultural roots and contrasts.
The Art of Tuning In: Nunchi
Nunchi – The Power of Silence delves into one of Korea’s core concepts: the subtle skill of sensing others’ feelings. This exhibition visually captures the quiet observation of both creation and passing, presenting art as a reflection of this silent yet powerful ability of emotional attunement.
Korea Through Hungarian Lenses
“Somewhere in Korea. Zoltán Molnár: South Korea (Dél-Korea), 2023 – Imre Benkő: North Korea (Észak-Korea), 1984, 1989” features a visual dialogue between two Hungarian documentary photographers. Their journeys document not only their own artistic evolution but also offer a distilled perspective on others. Although each follows their own artistic path, their photo series intertwine the spiritual roots of North and South Korea (Dél-Korea and Észak-Korea), revealing profound similarities and connections between the two divided nations.
