Head to Taksony (Taksony) on September 27, 2025, for the Taksony Wine Showcase (Taksonyi Szüreti Mustra), where wine and fresh grape juice tastings, crafts, parades, folk dancing, and family fun fill the autumn air. A Parade Worth Joining
Festivities kick off at 2 PM with the Showcase parade (Mustra parade), starting from Saint Stephen Square (Szent István tér) and led by the Taksony Heritage Wind Orchestra. The parade winds its way through the town and ends at Saint Anne Square (Szent Anna tér) at 2:45 PM, where local leaders and the delegation from the twin town of Springwater (Vízkelet) are welcomed.
Folk Dances and All-Out Fun
From 3 PM, groups from the Taksony Danube-Swabian Youth Society perform traditional folk dances, and at 5 PM the real party begins with the Heimatklang band turning up the festivities.
Hands-On Harvest Experience
Don’t miss the Local Patriot Mug Tavern (Lokálpatrióta Bögre Csárda), offering must tastings and laughter, or the craft sessions, folk games, grape pressing, horse carriage rides, bouncy castles, electric mini-cars, archery, and the Trachtenmoden Tata folk costume market.
