Kajdacs Harvest Festival: Two Days Of Dancing And Fun

The Kajdacs Harvest Days are scheduled for September 26–27, 2025, across multiple locations in Kajdacs (Kajdacs). While dates and programs may change, the upcoming event promises a packed schedule for everyone.

Friday Kicks Off the Festivities

Friday at 5 p.m. marks the opening of the festival on the Kajdacs (Kajdacs) football field. The Kajdacs Singing Group (Kajdacsi Dalárda) performs at 5:45 p.m., followed by a show from the Györköny Country Dance Group (Györkönyi Country Dance Group) at 6:10 p.m. Singer Tünde Tóth takes the stage at 7 p.m., before a lively folk dance party leads into the night, accompanied by the Zomba Iszkába Band (Zombai Iszkába Band) from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Saturday: Parade and Parties

Saturday begins at 11 a.m. with gathering and decorating in the schoolyard. The harvest parade sets off at 1 p.m., with dance stops throughout the village and finishes on the football field. The day continues with performances from local preschoolers, the Decs Starrose Dance Troupe (Decsi Csillagrózsa), schoolchildren, and Laci Outlaw (Laci Betyár). The highlight? A harvest ball at 9 p.m. in the community center with the Caravan Band (Karaván Band).
