If it’s autumn in Börtsch (Börcs), it must be time for the legendary Pumpkin Festival! On October 11, 2025, the village will host its eighteenth Traditional Pumpkin Festival, featuring not only pumpkins, but also the Pannonia’s Treasure Producers’ Market and a bustling Crafts Fair. Expect crowd-pleasing stage shows, a lively street of artisans, food stalls packed with fall flavors, a folk playhouse for kids, and plenty of fun surprises—proof that “the countryside comes alive in autumn.”
