Between October 9 and 19, the Szemrevaló Film Festival (Szemrevaló Filmfesztivál) will showcase the ten newest films from German-speaking regions. All selected films delve deep into family dynamics, offering both gripping drama and laugh-out-loud comedy.

The festival kicks off with Marielle Knows Everything (Marielle mindent tud), setting the tone for thought-provoking stories and quirky characters. This year’s lineup includes the official Oscar contenders from Germany and Austria: The Sound of the Fall (A zuhanás hangja) and Peacock – Am I Real? (Páva – Valódi vagyok?).
