Gather your crew for a thrilling historical adventure in Balatonlelle this October 23. “Message of Freedom” (Szabadság Üzenete) is an interactive detective game set along iconic sites in Balatonlelle, bringing the spirit of 1956 to life. Participants collect messages and solve puzzles at every stop, working together to uncover secrets just like those who spread the message of freedom during Hungary’s historic autumn.

How the Game Works
This isn’t a competition or a guided walk—it’s a self-paced, themed tour where you start from the House of Culture (Művelődési Ház) between 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm. Pick up your puzzle sheet, jot down answers at each station, and see how well you can solve the mystery. The approximately 1.25-mile (2 km) route is kid-friendly and usually takes teams 1–2 hours, depending on pace.
Registration and Rewards
Participation is completely free, and advance registration isn’t required—but if you register in advance, they’ll guarantee your team a surprise gift at the finish. Meet in Balatonlelle on October 23 and become part of history!
