Contemporary Jewelry Week Budapest (Kortárs Ékszerhét Budapest) returns with a bold mission: to spotlight the freshest creations by Hungarian jewelry designers and the wild diversity of contemporary jewelry art. This year’s edition gathers close to 100 creators across more than 25 venues, turning the city into a walkable showcase of metal, stone, and imagination. One of the key stops: the FISE – Association of Young Industrial Artists Studio Gallery (Fiatal Iparművészek Stúdiója Egyesület Galéria), welcoming anyone curious about where jewelry is headed next.
Exhibitions, Talks, Workshops, Performances
It’s not just display cases and spotlights. Alongside the exhibitions, the program includes conversations with designers, hands-on workshops, and live performances that break down the boundary between object and wearer. Expect experimentation, bold materials, and pieces that act more like micro-sculptures than accessories, all while reflecting the pulse of Budapest’s creative scene.
When and Where
The citywide celebration runs from October 27 to November 9, with pop-ups and galleries activating neighborhoods across the capital. Mark your map, bring questions, and try something on—this week is meant to be experienced.
