
2025–2026 brings a stacked lineup of theater, music, literature, and festivals to Gyula, split between the Ferenc Erkel Cultural Center and the Gyula Castle Theater (Gyulai Várszínház) chamber hall and outdoor stages. Over nearly two summer months, the Castle Theater rolls out a cross-arts open-air series tailored to all ages and tastes, promising quality performances and smart fun.

Nov 6, 2025 kicks off with Michael Cooney’s Nicsak, ki lakik itt?! (Who Lives Here?!) — “madness in two acts.” The same day, Gyulakult stages Lehel Másik – Csaba Vizeli: KLAPKA, a rock musical.
Nov 7: Castle Theater presents Éva Péterfy-Novák: Egyasszony (One Woman).
Nov 19: Gyulakult hosts Sándor Csányi: Hogyan értsük félre a nőket? 2 (How to Misunderstand Women? 2).
Nov 28: Castle Theater goes full comedy with Poénra fel! (Punchlines Up!).
Dec 4: Nektár Theater brings Diótörő (The Nutcracker), a musical-dance fairy tale.
