Saint Martin Family Day and Regional Talent Point Meeting
Venue: Tapolca Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Nagyboldogasszony) Roman Catholic Primary School building and courtyard, 8300 Tapolca, Templom-Domb 6.
Morning class programs: crafting lanterns in hands-on workshops with pressed autumn leaves and paper mosaics.
Afternoon schedule from 15:00 in the school courtyard includes: majorette flag opening dance; Zenebona Art Workshop performs the Legend of Saint Martin; Kerekerdő Folk Games and Dance Talent Workshop presents “Goose Games”; a dance house for future first-graders led by Gabriella Szijártóné Lovász; 15:45 awards for the kindergarten illustration contest; Takács Percussion Ensemble in concert; play yard and craft workshops, school showcase, sports activities, and a fair.
Talent Point studios offer group and individual sessions. From 14:00, a family interactive session with parents: designing and painting textile tote bags with design elements and stencils. Registration required via email: orosz.helga4@gmail.com.
Barbara Walla: “Play of Autumn Evenings” — glass mosaic candleholders and coasters. Helga Orosz, painter: Stone mosaic — making mosaics with colorful stones. Mrs. László Kajdi, master confectioner: snowman Gerbeaud balls, animal figures from sugar paste, chocolate clay flowers, and panna cotta.
At 19:00, lantern parade downtown with a horseback escort.

2025.11.19 Parent Evenings II. Topic: Atypical parenting — Positive Discipline. Guest: Móni Füstös, child-rearing expert and neurodiversity-informed Positive Discipline parent educator, guiding families through practical examples and everyday scenarios. Focus: understanding children’s unique ways of functioning, making discipline loving yet consistent, and building a home atmosphere where both child and parent can grow in safety and acceptance.
