Tapolca kicks off a family-filled St. Martin’s Day and Regional Talent Point Meeting on Friday, November 14, 2025, centered at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Nagyboldogasszony) Roman Catholic Primary School. The morning warms up in the classrooms with craft sessions making lanterns from pressed autumn leaves and paper mosaics, setting the tone for a lively afternoon outdoors. Families, bring your curiosity—and your mittens.
Afternoon Showcase
At 15:00, the school courtyard hosts the St. Martin’s Day celebration. The lineup opens with a majorette flag dance, followed by the Zenebona Art Workshop’s performance of the legend of St. Martin. The Kerekerdő Folk Games and Dance talent group jumps in with “Goose Games,” and there’s a beginner-friendly táncház for future first-graders led by Gabriella Szijártóné Lovász. At 15:45, the kindergarten illustration contest announces its winners. Music takes over with the Takács Percussion Ensemble in concert. Meanwhile, a play yard and craft stations, an institutional showcase, sports activities, and a buzzing market keep the energy high.
Hands-On Talent Labs
From 14:00, group and one-on-one Talent Point workshops roll out. There’s a family interactive session designing and painting textile tote bags using design elements and stencils—registration required via email at orosz.helga4@gmail.com.
