Üllő lines up culture, food, and family fun in 2025, with concerts, theater, exhibitions, and plenty of kid-friendly picks. Literary evenings, talks, and festive gatherings pack the calendar—and yes, there’s Advent galore.
Books, Models, Magic Lanterns
November 25 kicks off with a cozy Literary Tea: the launch of Ákos Jezsó’s trilogy, complete with readings and a chat. Three days later, on November 28, Béla Görög opens his model and scale-model exhibition—catnip for detail obsessives. November 30 marks the start of Advent in Üllő, and the vibe keeps glowing through December. On December 2, a classic diavetítés (slide-show storytelling) brings old-school charm for families.
Four Sundays of Advent
Advent returns on all four Sundays: December 7, 14, and 21 extend the celebrations with markets, music, and community rituals that pile on the candles and the cheer. It’s a compact schedule—82 items in total—but it covers the town’s greatest hits: stories, craftsmanship, and togetherness, wrapped in winter lights.
