Borbála Day Goes Big
On December 5, the city opens Hantken Miksa Park with a full Borbála Day lineup at 2510 Dorog, Esztergomi út 4. Outdoors: 16:00 festive greetings; 16:30 Alagút, a Petőfi School theater piece prepared by Bernadett Bogár-Bódi; then at 17:00, a miners’ lamp parade featuring Hétszínvirág Kindergarten (Hétszínvirág Óvoda), the Dorog chapter of OMBKE, and the Dorog Miners’ Union (Dorogi Bányász). Indoors: 17:00–21:00 Selfie Zoom; 17:30 Masni és Pocó with Réka Mihályi for kids; guided tours at 18:00 and 19:00. All programs are free.
Brains and Farce Incoming
On January 20, Scientific Stand-Up – László Mérő: The Power of Words (Tudományos Stand Up – Mérő László: A szavak ereje) returns to Dumaszínház; tickets $24.00–$24.90. Then on April 20 at the József Attila Cultural Center (József Attila Művelődési Központ): Rendezvous in Paris, or Happy Easter! (Randevú Párizsban, avagy Kellemes Húsvéti Ünnepeket!), a stage comedy full of holiday mischief.
