Budapest’s Campona is turning into a Christmas fairy tale again from December 5–21, 2025. Follow the festive trail to the Secret Elevator to Santa, ride up, and share your biggest wish face to face. Every child gets a printed photo to take home for free, so the moment lasts long after the lights dim.
When to Find Santa
Drop by on December 5–7, 13–14, and 20–21. Opening hours: daily 10:00–17:00, except December 5, when it runs 14:00–19:00. The Secret Elevator only opens on these dates, so set your calendar now.
How to Get In
– Make a single purchase of at least USD 13.80 at any Campona store (Tesco excluded) between November 20 and December 21, 2025. One receipt equals one family/5 people.
– Same-day, in-person registration only: head upstairs and find Santa’s helper to sign up. Spots are limited each day, so arrive at opening to avoid missing out. You’ll get a named ticket with your time slot.
– Registration must be done by someone 18+.
– Up to 5 people per session (maximum 2 adults). Children must be accompanied by an adult.
– Show up at least 15 minutes before your slot and check in with Santa’s helper to guarantee entry.
– No phone or email registration; it’s on-site only.
No Elevator? Still Magic
Didn’t make it in? Don’t worry. Write your wish and drop your letter into the mailbox by Santa’s room. Include your name and full address. Santa replies each week to 3 lucky kids.
Free Craft Weekends
The first two weekends include free craft sessions. Make your own winter glass jar lantern and a Christmas elf to take home. It’s hands-on holiday spirit for all ages.
Big-Kid Bonus: Gift Card Draw
