Advent Highlights and Dates
Mark your calendar for a week-by-week celebration. On 2025.12.04, kids and grown-ups can hop on a safari bus with Santa in Bogács. The next day, 2025.12.05, brings a puppet theater and craft workshop. On 2025.12.06, slip into the pools for a musical, late-night St. Nicholas Day (Mikulás) bath. Candlelight returns with festive programs and wreath ceremonies on three Sundays: 2025.12.07, 2025.12.14, and 2025.12.21. The community comes together for a village Christmas event on 2025.12.19 to keep the spirit glowing.
Stay in a Modern “Yurt” or Cozy Apartment
The Yurt Holiday Center earns its name from three circular, yurt-shaped buildings designed for big groups who still want smaller rooms for privacy. On the other side, five duplex houses with 10 apartments welcome guests, and both a yurt building and one apartment house are wheelchair accessible. If you prefer closer-to-the-bath convenience, the new Patak-Party Apartments sit on the western side of the Bogács Thermal and Beach Spa near the rear entrance. It’s a short stroll through the three-star Panzió entrance. Upstairs there are eight studio apartments: seven doubles with extra-bed options and one family unit with two rooms, suitable for 18+7 guests total.

The all-season, winterized Thermal Camping and Cabins await campers and comfort-seekers. Another guesthouse lies just about 1,312 feet from the thermal bath on a quiet street, recommended for families and groups of friends, with a 10–12 person capacity. For a traditional stay, an ambitus-style farmhouse offers four rooms—two doubles, one four-bed, and one triple—each with its own bathroom, plus a spacious shared kitchen and a large, park-like garden.
