The Opera House’s Eiffel Workshop House (Eiffel Műhelyház) at 30 Kőbányai Road rolls into late 2025 and 2026 with a busy, genre-hopping schedule that makes the most of its modern spaces and pristine acoustics. Expect chamber gems, family matinees, witty talk shows, Mozart favorites, ballet miniatures, and the ever-glam Prima Donnas (Príma Donnák) series spotlighting star sopranos. Tickets are available online, and dates and programs are subject to change—so keep an eye out.
December Highlights
December brings multiple family-friendly performances. A Little Magic Flute (Parázsfuvolácska) lights up the Miklós Bánffy Hall on December 21 at 11:00 and 14:30, then again on December 24 at 11:00 and December 28 at 11:00. On December 22 at 19:00, the Bánffy Hall hosts Csingisz és Fonyi | Miért ilyen a magyar? | Hoppá Show, a sharp, humorous live format. On December 28, the guided adventure (K)Eiffel, Jancsi! departs from the main foyer at 9:30, inviting audiences to explore the building’s secrets.

On January 18 at 10:30, Instrument Magic (Hangszervarázs) – strings animates the Sándor Hevesi Studio Stage, followed on January 24 at 19:00 by Prima Donnas (Príma Donnák) spotlighting Ilona Tokody in the Miklós Bánffy Hall. On January 25, the behind-the-scenes (K)Eiffel, Jancsi! returns at 9:30, and Ring-a-Ding Morning (Csengő-bongó délelőtt) – harp rings in at 10:30 at Hevesi.
February Mix
Brass and woodwinds get their turn: Ring-a-Ding Morning (Csengő-bongó délelőtt) – trumpet & trombone on February 1 at 10:30, and Instrument Magic (Hangszervarázs) – woodwinds on February 8 at 10:30, both at Hevesi. Comedian Eszter Ráskó headlines RTL Special on February 6 at 18:00 and 20:00 in the Bánffy Hall. Paisiello’s The Goose of Cairo, or The Deceived Bridegroom (A kairói lúd, avagy A rászedett vőlegény) lands on February 20 at 19:00, again on February 22 at 11:00, and February 28 at 19:00. Prima Donnas (Príma Donnák) celebrates Gyöngyi Lukács on February 21 at 19:00.
