White Lies, launched in 2008, are one of the key bands of melancholic indie rock, filling arenas and major clubs worldwide. They’re finally getting their own night in Budapest (Budapest): they’ll perform on February 13 at Dürer Garden (Dürer Kert) as part of their early 2026 tour. Expect the cult hits along with songs from their new era—so a true “best of + new chapter” experience is on the way.
New Album, Old Magic
Night Light, released this fall, draws on the sound of the ’70s, mixing analog warmth with dark pop melancholy. With this record, the band seems to return to their roots while bringing in tighter, more danceable textures. At the concert, we can expect the tracks from Night Light to sound even grittier live, casting fresh light alongside the classics.
An Evening at Dürer Garden
Their first standalone Budapest (Budapest) show is not only a symbolic milestone but also a rare chance to hear White Lies in an intimate club setting. If you love darkly glowing choruses and film noir–style bass lines, you’ll be there. (Cover photo: Medios y Media – Getty Images)
