The pioneering Kőbánya (Kőbánya) craft outfit MONYO Brewing, founded in 2014 by Adam Pein (Pein Ádám) and Anti Nemeth (Németh Anti), has grown from a new-wave upstart into a state-of-the-art operation selling across four continents. They’re throwing their 11th birthday bash on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at MONYO Taproom, 1103 Budapest (Budapest), Gyömrői Road (Gyömrői út) 148, and you’re invited. Entry is free, but registration is a must.
All-day party, no dull moments
Expect a packed program: DJ sets rolling all day, brewery tours peeking behind the tanks, and a fresh beer premiere alongside taproom-only deals. Rusty Rack is keeping the food game strong with hearty bites to soak up the hops. It’s the perfect excuse to meet the team, taste what’s new, and revisit the hits.
Why it matters
From early collaborations to running what they call the country’s most modern brewing facility, MONYO has helped put Budapest’s craft scene on the map. This birthday is less a look back than a full-throttle showcase of where Hungarian beer is headed next.
