Looking for a family program on Sunday? Head to Óbuda! The Palace of Wonders (Csopa) is an all-day science experience center where everyone—from age 3 to teenagers, and even adults—will find a favorite activity. You can compete, test your logic, and be surprised by hidden skills that come out when you experiment, play, and laugh together.
Date: 2026.02.22., Sunday. Location: 1036 Budapest, District 3 – Óbuda, 24 Mátyás király Street. With your ticket, you can stay all day, and 3–4 carefree hours—or even more—will fly by.
Anything can happen at Csopa: hop onto the odd-wheeled car and see if it bumps along under you. Take on the Mirror Maze, mix up your face at the distortion stations, and shake hands with yourself—with one hand. Climb into a Moon Rover, snap a selfie in the company of the greatest scientists, and become a hundred-person team in the Giant Kaleidoscope. Stand in the middle of the Infinity Room and gaze into the endless, while logic challenges offer fun for both kids and adults.
Who will be the bravest fakir among you? On the Flying Reflection attraction, you can walk on air, spin a vortex, play air basketball, and the wonders just keep coming.
On the Öveges Stage, spectacle and excitement arrive four times a day:
11:00 – Bubble Show: what is a bubble, why is it round, how big can the biggest be? You’ll learn the secret recipe for great bubble solution, and how a bubble can glow. Spectacular giant bubbles—physics made playful.
13:00 – Spectacular Science: the “brutal” laws of physics in action, with the presenter’s favorite experiments and maximum adrenaline.
15:00 – Gedeon Richter Science Show: physics and chemistry team up for the most eye-catching experiments.
17:00 – Glowing Stage: hot moments and a playful introduction to flames and the physics of heat—never try this at home.
In the Gedeon Richter Lab, you can get spinning, too: lab coat on, safety goggles on, and dive into exciting, safe experiments. The little ones won’t be left out, and older kids can dig in more seriously.
