Budapest Ritmo is back for its 11th edition from Thursday, April 9 to Saturday, April 11, 2026, turning the city into Central Europe’s most eclectic world music hub. It kicks off with a free opening day, then rolls into a stacked lineup mixing international heavy-hitters and homegrown heroes across multiple stages and late-night DJ sets.
Lineup Highlights
Serbian genre-benders Naked team up with Folk Trio, led by powerhouse vocalist Monica Lakatos (Lakatos Mónika), for a combustible crossover. Hungary’s own Hakumba bring their irresistible groove, while France’s Ko Shin Moon blend vintage psychedelia with club textures. Slovenia’s Bakalina Velika arrive with their expansive folk experiment, South Korea’s dal:um showcase zither-driven minimalism, and Cuba’s Grupo Compay Segundo channel Havana’s golden-era spirit with timeless son montuno.
