Kalandozás a Csillagszemű juhásszal (Adventure with the Starry-Eyed Shepherd) flips a beloved classic into a hands-on, laughter-filled, movement-rich learning show. Kids can jump right into the story, slipping into any character they like. The tale unfolds from a child’s-eye view, turning spectators into co-creators in a workshop-style performance designed with playful, experiential pedagogy.
A Fényteremtő (The Lightmaker) is a one-of-a-kind light-and-sound odyssey where time dissolves and imagination redraws the map. Light technicians wield intelligent lamps and striking audio to stage the eternal dance of light and shadow, good and evil. When one light fades, another blazes—an endless cycle brought to life in a poetic, pulsing spectacle. It’s a first-of-its-kind experience in Hungary, an immersive musical light-magic show that dares you to stare into wonder.

This journey traces how visionaries dreamed up deep-sea dives and the conquest of the skies when crafting a single wheel was a feat. Science and imagination walk hand in hand in this lively, curiosity-sparking session for kids, adults, and anyone ready to marvel at how light was born in the “dark” Middle Ages.
On March 7, from 10:30 to 17:00, three free games are up for grabs, including two search adventures with surprises at the finish. Dress up in the Tailor’s Workshop as a prince, princess, jester, or even an executioner. The House of Crafts offers unique gifts and hand-bound books, while the Squire School showcases award-winning leather jewelry and genuine-leather goods. Make your own piece with the goldsmith, learn glass-painting basics at the glass-picture maker, and get your caricature drawn.
Weather worries? Don’t. Programs run in all conditions. In the Squire School South Hall, Ilona and Anikó’s studio turns premium materials into chic home decor, ornate boxes, and custom textiles like tees, bags, and pouches. The Smart Space hosts two special interactive games. The woodcarver’s workshop brims with brain-teasing toys, turned wooden bowls, carved spoons, and ethereal Soul Birds. The Gagyizda gift hub stocks dozens of keepsakes, handmade chocolate, and fragrant bath salts and oils. Pro tip: arrive at opening to fit everything in.

Vajákosság és boszorkányság Zinával (Witchery and Sorcery with Zina) dives into the lore of medieval witches and charmers—and tracks their traces in the present. Think fear of damnation alone kept people virtuous? Not quite. Even gossiping or mouthing off at your husband could bring punishment. Learn who the witches were, how persecutions started, which charms still echo today, and whether incantations actually work. The show ends with a lifetime charm from the performer and a good dose of humor. A joint production of the Ágens Company (Ágens Társulat) and the Bikal Experience Theatre (Bikali Élmény Színház).
On March 14, from 10:30 to 17:00, the estate marks Hungary’s March 15 national holiday with a full day of craft workshops, interactive games, animal encounters, and enlightening adventures.
