Spring Highlights
On March 13, Ray Cooney’s Out of Order (A miniszter fĂ©lrelĂ©p) at Bánfalvy StĂşdiĂł, Art Cinema (Ady Hall), kicks off the season; tickets are 18–26 USD. March 19 brings Bridgerton by Candlelight (BRIDGERTON ZENÉJE GYERTYAFÉNYBEN) at the City Concert and Exhibition Hall, 34–37 USD. Kids score on March 28 with Frakk and Soccer (Frakk Ă©s a foci) at DörmögĹ‘ Dömötör Theater (DörmögĹ‘ Dömötör SzĂnház), Mindszentyneum, 11 USD. Dániel Mogács’s EGO lands April 10 at DumaszĂnház, Keresztury DezsĹ‘ Cultural Center (VMK), 18 USD, while April 26 turns into “Mancsos Kavalkád,” a dog-friendly day of fun. On April 29, Tvrtko – Chernobyl 40 (Csernobil 40) delivers an exclusive talk at Keresztury DezsĹ‘ Cultural Center (VMK).
Early Summer Festivals
Beer lovers hit the Beer Festival (Sörfesztivál) May 8–10. Ismerős Arcok present their new album Ecce Homo on May 15. The Göcsej Prósza Festival (Göcseji Prószafesztivál) returns May 25. The 7th GreenTech Expo and Conference runs May 28–29, with the Pankkutya Festival May 28–30. The musical Tigermoms (Anyatigrisek) plays May 29 at Art Cinema (Ady Hall), 21–22 USD. City Children’s Day is May 31.
Summer to Fall
Restart Sports Festival (Restart Sportfesztivál) runs June 13–14, EgerszegFest (EgerszegFeszt) June 19–21, and St. John’s Night Festivities (Szent Iván-éji vigasságok) on June 27 light up the month. The Gébárti Folk Art Festival (Gébárti Népművészeti Fesztivál) follows July 11. September brings the Game Stew and Wine Festival (Vadpörkölt és Bor Fesztivál) Sept 4–6 and the Garden City Festivities (Kertvárosi Vigasságok) Sept 12.
