It all starts on Thursday, March 26, in ZIP code 2143, with events tied to spots like DeĂĄktanya, CsigahĂĄz (Snail House), DeĂĄk F. Ășt 1, the city library, cemetery, and beyond. DeĂĄktanya’s weekly educational talks are open to everyone, totally free, with opportunities to join the Kistarcsai Cultural Association.
March Kickoff
March 26 features Nagy Zsolt on the Bible Alliance (Biblia SzövetsĂ©g). On the 28th, join a hiking tour (gyalogtĂșra) on the Kistarcsa side of Nagytarcsa, plus the 32nd Bunny Cup (Nyuszi Kupa) swimming competition (ĂșszĂłverseny).
April Packed with Crafts and Talks
April 2 features Mercel Attila on working in the film industry (tevĂ©kenysĂ©g a filmszakmĂĄban), alongside spring craft workshops (tavaszi kĂ©zmƱves foglalkozĂĄs) for disadvantaged Kistarcsa kids and youth at DeĂĄk F. Ășt 1âfree, but registration required. Those craft workshops continue April 7-10. Computer courses for over-65s are held at CsigahĂĄz on the 8th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, and 24th. April 9 features CsapĂł Beatrix on the social garden in GödöllĆ (szociĂĄlis kert GödöllĆn). Local history walk (helytörtĂ©neti sĂ©ta), including the cemetery, on the 11th; Baba-Mama Book Club (Baba-Mama Könyvklub) at the city library on the 13th. Tillmann Kinga shares tales of backpacking in South America (hĂĄtizsĂĄkkal DĂ©l-AmerikĂĄban) on the 16th. April 17 features another seniors’ computer class and retro quiz night (kvĂzest) at CsigahĂĄz. Exhibition of Kistarcsa painters (Kistarcsai festĆk kiĂĄllĂtĂĄsa) runs April 18-19.
