April 2026 Kickoff
Kick off on April 12 with Titok – Egy este Danny Blue-val (Secret – An Evening with Danny Blue). Catch Jon Fosse’s Reggel és este (Morning and Evening) at Zsolnay Theater on April 14. Jazz fans: Metronóm Jazz Club brings Juhász Márton – Skylark Quartet on April 16. Families love the Kortársék-Szipál Workshop family day on April 18. Double up on April 19 with Co Lee Live Band and Milyen a te mandalád? (What’s Your Mandala Like?). Noémi Orvos-Tóth talks about breaking inherited family patterns on April 20 ($27). Endre Beleznay’s stand-up Na végre! (Finally!) hits on April 22, followed by Varázsóra – Ütköző golyóktól az ütköző atomokig (Magic Hour – From Colliding Balls to Colliding Atoms) on April 25.
May 2026 Highlights
Tvrtko’s Csernobil 40 exclusive show sells out fast on May 7 and later November 18 ($21). Kollár-Klemencz Chamber Orchestra debuts its A lányok nem sírnak (Girls Don’t Cry) album on May 8. Ibolya Görög presents HURRÁ – NYARALUNK! (Yay – We’re on Vacation!) for $15 on May 13. More jazz with Boggie – Apoteózis at Metronóm on May 14, plus Boogie Show. The 3rd Japanese Classic Car Show rolls in May 23-24, featuring 200 Japanese classics in the parking garage, complete with talks. Péter Elek’s Lehelek őszinte? (Can I Be Honest?), hosted by Gergő Szobácsi, runs May 26 ($22-$23). Kids’ City Day caps the month on May 31.
June to November Lineup
Lázár tesók – real-life brothers Domokos and Ágoston from Esti Kornél and Pegazusok nem léteznek bands – deliver intimate, raw tunes blending melancholy, humor, joy, and sorrow on June 6. Science adventure camps run July 13-17 and 20-24. Rákász Gergely plays MOZART on September 24 ($16-$22). November brings Jövőre Veled ugyanitt! (Same Time Next Year!) for $16 on November 5, QUEEN Symphonic Live ($26-$40) on November 16, and another Tvrtko Chernobyl show.
