Visegrád invites you every Saturday this fall to the 2026 Knights’ Games and Feast, a time warp back to the 14th century hosted by the Renaissance Restaurant. Book early to lock in one of the Danube Bend’s most exciting family programs at 1 Duna-parti út, where the living Middle Ages take over Salamon Tower at noon.
When and where
Guaranteed start time: every Saturday at 12:00 at Salamon Tower. The Saint George Knightly Order stages a spectacular tournament evoking how warriors once fought for the king’s and queen’s favor in medieval Visegrád.
Be crowned and cheer
Right at the start, the knights pick a king and queen from the audience, robe and crown them, then parade in at the monarch’s call. With authentic weapons, they show off marksmanship and dueling skills before the royal couple and guests. The bouts are realistic, thrilling, and often witty, honoring knightly courage and daredevilry. A royal hunting falcon takes to the air to cap the mood. At the end, guests can try medieval weapons with the knights’ help.
