where: 5700 Gyula, Part u. 5.

Gyula is gearing up for the first long weekend of summer with a full-on wellness escape. From Friday, May 22 to Monday, May 25, 2026, Wellness Hotel Gyula offers a three-night package with full board, access to its Wellness Oasis and fitness room, and a family-friendly program lineup steps from the city’s top sights. The entrance to the famous Gyula Castle Spa (Gyulai Várfürdő) bath complex is just 33 feet from the hotel, and the Gyula Pálinka Festival (Gyulai Pálinkafesztivál) is on the same weekend, so you can pair spa downtime with a taste of local tradition. Address: 5700 Gyula, Part u. 5.

What’s Included in the Package

The offer runs May 22–25 and includes three nights’ accommodation with full board, with 5% VAT and a 15% service charge already factored into the meal prices. Guests get a buffet breakfast, a three-course wellness lunch, and a buffet dinner curated by Chef Géza Farkas. The indoor Wellness Oasis is unlimited, with a Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, steam room, plunge pool, adventure pool, jacuzzi, children’s pool, and relaxation loungers. In season, the outdoor Wellness Oasis also opens with a swimming pool, an outdoor children’s pool with fun features, a sun terrace, and a playground. Note: the outdoor pool operates roughly from early May to early October, while the outdoor kids’ pool runs from early June to early October, both weather-dependent.

Fitness, Aqua Fun, and Perks

Wellness doesn’t stop at soaking. The hotel runs free Aqua Fitness three times a week. Each guest receives one massage coupon worth 1,000 HUF, approximately 2.75 USD, to put toward treatments. You’ll also have access to a 3,200-square-foot Csigakert playhouse outfitted with a sponge corner, maze, and bouncy castle with slide. Childcare is available in the playhouse for kids over 3; children under 3 can join with parental supervision. Expect lively family programming: Momó the squirrel, the playhouse’s mascot, drops by five times a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, while a kids’ mini disco runs four times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Connectivity and Comforts

The stay includes wireless internet access, an in-room safe, bathrobe use, and full access to the fitness room. Guests also receive a virtual Visit Gyula Card (Visit Gyula Kártya) for local discovery perks, plus loyalty discounts for returning visitors. VAT is included.

Pricing and City Tax

Package rates start from 41,120 HUF per person per night, about 113 USD. Of that, meals cost 18,900 HUF per adult per night, about 52 USD, inclusive of 5% VAT. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner within the full board include a 15% service charge. The city’s tourist tax is 750 HUF per person per night (about 2.05 USD), payable from age 18.

How the Full Board Works

The three-course wellness lunch is served daily from 12:00 to 15:00 in the first-floor buffet restaurant. It features one soup, a choice of three main dishes, side dishes, a salad bar, and desserts. Within this package, lunch is provided on arrival day and each full day in between, but not on departure day, when the final meal is the buffet breakfast. On arrival, lunch is available after check-in and before you take your room, so arriving early is advised to enjoy it comfortably. If you can’t make it by 15:00 on arrival day, the hotel can’t substitute another meal; in that case, dinner is served from 18:00.

Parking Options

Parking is limited and must be requested at the time of room booking. The camera-monitored, overnight-closed courtyard parking costs 2,000 HUF per car per night (about 5.50 USD). The camera-monitored underground garage is 2,300 HUF per car per night (about 6.30 USD). Street parking on Part Street (Part utca) is available via ticket machines at current city rates. If on-site spaces fill up, street parking with a valid ticket is the fallback.
