Late April Openers
April 25–26 brings Architecture Day and Night across the city, with tours and late programs for design lovers. The same weekend features Family LEGO Time – Checked Table series, guided Castle Walks at 16:00 on the 25th and at 10:00 and 16:00 on the 26th, plus the first Várhegy Organ Evenings on April 25 at 19:00.
Smart Minds, Big Sounds
On Monday, April 27 at 10:00, Eötvös Károly Library’s Kisfaludy Hall hosts Is ChatGPT Really My Friend? – a talk on AI by Melinda Klausz for grades 5–8. On April 28 at 17:00, the library’s Dr. Nagy László Room presents Zenei Klub Extra, celebrating jazz guitarist Gábor Szabó at 90, with gems by Bill Evans and UK funk-rockers Cymande. LP Láz’s László Pallagi brings prime rock; expect tracks from Dinah Shore, Anouar Brahem, Géza Bereményi, Imre Kőszegi, and Gato Barbieri. Led by Krisztián Kindler, with highlights from the library’s collection and event photography.
Paws and Play
April 29, 16:30–17:00: Dog Therapy for the Tiniest at Eötvös Károly Library. Meet Travel the therapy dog. Led by Anikó Jánoska from the Doctor Paws (Doktor Mancsok) Foundation, the 0–3 crowd learns gentle pet skills. Valid library card required; bring indoor shoes if it rains.
