Boglart Festival is back on August 26–30, 2026, turning Balatonboglár’s Babel Camp (8630 Balatonboglár, Szabadság utca 28) into a buzzing folk and world music hub. Now in its seventh year, the event blends music camp, festival, industry forum, and showcase: classes and workshops by day, two stages of live acts by night, then dancing until dawn in the folkkocsma.
Music, Learning, Community
What makes Boglart stand out is its double life as both a creative workshop and a summer festival. Daytime focuses on learning, with hands-on sessions from artists who also perform later—covering everything from Moldavian and string folk techniques to practical music industry know‑how. Evenings roll into concerts, táncház, and late-night world‑electronic sets, fusing tradition with pulse.
First Names Announced
Early lineup highlights include Belgium’s Enara Navaira, Senegal’s Afrikora, Istria’s Veja, and from Hungary, Okos Viola, Obadu, plus festival hosts Góbé. Following strong feedback last year, the showcase block returns, creating a meeting point for Hungarian and international professionals to connect and collaborate.
Tickets, Passes, Discounts
Passes, combo passes, 48‑hour tickets, and day tickets are on sale now at very low early prices, with the first wave of artists landing in the second half of November. Discounts apply for under‑18s, over‑64s, and teachers. If you’re joining the course or the showcase and qualify for a discount, combine reduced festival passes/day tickets with course passes/day tickets for the best deal. Entry is free for kids under 10.
