Randevú Párizsban, avagy Kellemes Húsvéti Ünnepeket! (A Date in Paris, or Happy Easter!)
Saturday, April 25, 2026, 19:00
A comedy in two parts, set in Paris today, in one of its poshest districts.
Based on a 1984 French hit drawn from a screenplay by Jean Poiret and Georges Lautner—and made famous by Sophie Marceau and Jean-Paul Belmondo—the stage version lands us in the Easter holidays with industrial magnate Stéphane Margelle, a charming serial seducer married to the beautiful Sophie. After he drops Sophie at the airport, fate sends an 18-year-old girl across his path. Dinner, bar, apartment—then the twist: Sophie’s flight is canceled and she walks in. Cornered, Stéphane blurts out a whopper: the young woman is his daughter. Doors slam (figuratively), lies tangle, and Parisian poise unravels with stylish chaos.
Cast: Stéphane — Egyházi Géza; Sophie — Fogarassy Bernadett; Julie — Czető Fritz Éva; Walter — Várfi Sándor; Frédéric — Czető Roland; Marlène — Borbáth Ottília.
Creators: Directed by Márton András; set by Katona Koós János; translated by Vinkó József; assistant director Dobos Erika. Expect sleek farce mechanics, razor timing, and Easter eggs of scandal in an elegant arrondissement.
Molnár Ferenc: Az ördög (The Devil) – Comedy
Thursday, April 30, 2026, 19:00
Presented by Veszprém Petőfi Theater (Veszprémi Petőfi Színház), part of the Kálmán Imre bérlet (subscription series)
Venue: Kálmán Imre Művelődési Központ, theater hall
Directed by Benkő Péter, a two-time Jászai Mari Award-winning, honored and distinguished artist.
Molnár Ferenc’s The Devil launched him to world fame with a scandalous spark: it stares straight at the man–woman dynamic and brings the subconscious on stage as an actual character. A fashionable painter is about to paint his best friend’s wife when the Devil steps in, teasing out the secrets and unspoken temptations both have buried. The Devil goads the painter to face the truth—he is not indifferent to his friend’s wife—and sets a trap at an evening party, whispering to the smitten man that beneath the sweeping gown, the woman wears nothing. Witty, agile, and mischievously modern, the play flips expectations while the Devil rewrites the rules.
Cast: The Devil — Klem Viktor; Jolán — Szederjesi Teodóra; János — Vaszkó Bence; László — Gaál Attila Csaba; Elza — Rubold Emília; Selyem Cinka — Reiter Zita; András/Waiter — Máté P. Gábor.
Team: Set and costumes by Libor Katalin; assistant director Varga Zsófi; stage manager Szentmiklósi Ildikó; prompter Taubel Viktória.
Tickets: Stalls USD 13.53; Balcony USD 12.18.

Ray Cooney, farce maestro, aims straight for your laugh muscles with a high-speed tangle inside London’s most elegant fur salon. Expect love triangles, mink coats, scantily clad surprises, garments flying out windows, and pure pandemonium. Gilbert, the pompous co-owner, is set for the conquest of his life while his wife is away. But everything jams: capricious lovers, mink prices plummeting to a tenth, an unexpected wife’s return, and a drunken frigate captain crashing through the plan. Even Arnold, the impeccably honest business partner, loses count of the affairs, the women hidden in closets, and the husbands in hot pursuit. Testosterone climbs, the city’s transport system gains a trove of women’s underwear, and Gilbert cooks up ever-crazier schemes on the way to a riotous finale.

Siófok’s tally of stage offerings runs deep this year—62 shows to choose from—and these spring dates promise packed houses. The only question is where to sit: in the stalls, close to the action, or up on the balcony, surveying the laughter. Either way, the curtain goes up on time.
