Think retro beach parties, big-name concerts, boat trips, theater, kid-friendly shows, wellness pop-ups, and season-opening spectacles that turn promenades and parks into open-air stages. Here’s what to catch, day by day and week by week.

April 27 – May 3: Warm-Up Week

All week long, an outdoor sightseeing adventure game turns Siófok’s landmarks into a playful city quest—perfect with friends or family. From May 1–3, hop on Siófok’s lake cruises for fresh Balaton air and shoreline views.
May 1 brings an Ismerős Arcok concert, while May 1–2 the Siófoki Nagystrand (Great Beach) hosts Retro Majális, an ’80s-themed beach bash from 10:00 to 22:00 daily with iconic performers, stage shows, a “gastro yard,” and children’s programs. Dress in your best ’80s look—prizes go to the most stylish retro fits.
On May 3, the Madagascar Small Pet Exhibition runs 14:00–17:00 at the Munkacsarnok (Déli út 1). Expect meerkats as the surprise stars, photo ops with a macaw, cuddly petting zones, and plenty of adorable encounters. Tickets: children and seniors 3,000 HUF ($8.36), adults 3,500 HUF ($9.76).

May 4–10: Icons, Safety, and Stage Laughs

Richter kicks in 3.5 million HUF ($9,762) as a base for the local hospital; your activity grows the pot—first entry earns double points.

At 18:00, the upstairs gallery at the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center opens István Móczár’s life-work: Egy vizualista képelő képtelenségei (A Visualist’s Impossible Images), as the 10th Siófok Balaton Salon (X. Siófoki Balaton Szalon), on view until August 14. Painter Lajos Veszeli opens; actress Katalin Karancz hosts. Later, 19:00 Időutazó Rock Band and 20:30 Pokolgép play the Hajóállomás (Harbor)—free entry. May 30–June 7: Races, Guitars, Rap Nights

May 30 features the 12th Cofidis Tour de Balaton cycling event. Plázs hosts Kowalsky meg a Vega that evening (19:00–23:00). At 18:00 in the Lutheran Church (Oulu Park), Across Styles with Tamás Szekeres (Stílusokon át Szekeres Tamással) mixes Omega and Omega Oratorio classics with Bach and Vivaldi in crossover; joined by the Siófok Art School Children’s Choir and Siófok Women’s Choir. May 31 is Children’s Day on Fő tér (Main Square)—free and stacked from morning: giant bubble shows (12:00–18:00), aerial/air track tryouts from age five, Exatlon 138-foot obstacle course, hoverboards, inflatables, creative workshops, and concerts by Edina Lovászi’s ABC show, Fellegjárók, Sólya folk band with dance house, and a finale by Rutkai Bori Banda.
