Siófok’s 2026 calendar is packed from spring into summer with big-name concerts, theater, exhibitions, lake cruises, and kid-approved happenings across the south shore of Lake Balaton. From retro dress-up at the beach to season-opening parades and late-night DJ marathons, here’s what to catch between late April and early June.
Retro vibes and lakefront beats
Kick off May with Ismerős Arcok in Siófok on May 1, then dive into Retro Majális at Siófok Grand Beach (Siófoki Nagystrand) on May 1–2, daily 10:00–22:00. It’s an ’80s-flavored throwback with iconic performers, stage shows, a foodie courtyard, kids’ programs, and a fresh twist: come dressed in your best retro threads and win prizes for the most creative or stylish outfits. The beachside backdrop is pure Balaton magic.
Cruises run out of Siófok May 1–3 and then weekly through June, perfect for mixing fresh air with skyline views. Throughout these weeks, an outdoor, self-guided city adventure game lets families and friends discover local landmarks while solving challenges.

On May 3, the Madagascar Small Pet Exhibition pops up at the Sports Hall (Munkacsarnok, Déli út 1) from 14:00–17:00, promising meerkat surprises, photo ops with a scarlet macaw, a petting corner, and plenty of cute overload.
