Balatonboglár’s 7th Boglart Festival takes place August 26–30, 2026, at Babel Camp, right by Lake Balaton, blending a folk/world music festival, intensive music course, industry forum, and showcase. By day, it’s all about learning; by night, two stages rotate bands before the folk pub keeps the dancing going until dawn. Venue: 8630 Balatonboglár, Szabadság Street (Szabadság utca) 28.
Day School, Night Party
Boglart’s charm is its hybrid format: a music camp and a festival in one. The atmosphere mixes workshops, lakeside summer, and community vibes, turning the week into an inspiring creative hub rather than a simple run of gigs. It stands out on the Hungarian and international calendar for merging hands-on education with a full-scale festival experience.
Artists Just Announced
Freshly confirmed: Belgium’s Enara Navaira, Senegal’s Afrikora, Istria’s Veja, plus Hungarian names Viola Okos, Obadu, and resident hosts Góbé. A Boglart signature twist: performers double as daytime teachers, leading workshops from Moldavian and string folk techniques to music industry know-how. Concert evenings flow into táncház, then a global-electronic afterparty.
Showcase and Pro Connections
After last year’s strong buzz, the showcase block returns, bringing Hungarian and international professionals together to connect and collaborate. The first artist announcements arrive in the second half of November; until then, festival passes, combo passes, 48-hour tickets, and day tickets are on sale at very low prices.
Tickets and Discounts
Discounted passes/tickets are available for under‑18s, over‑64s, and teachers. If you’re also applying for the course or the showcase and qualify for discounts, combine reduced festival passes/day tickets with course passes/day tickets. Free entry for kids under 10. Dates: August 26–30, 2026. Location: Balatonboglár.
