What Kids Do Here

A young, upbeat team welcomes everyone ages 4–14—including tweens and teens—for age-based sessions where they prepare for Jewish holidays together, explore mitzvot, get to know traditions, and pick up the values meant to carry them through life. Whether you’re little, tweening, heading toward your youth-leader phase, or about to reach Bar/Bat Mitzvah, this Sunday school is built for you.

Age Groups and Activities

I. Group (ages 4–6) – “Hullám-csoport” (Wave Group): play, crafts, green themes. Every Sunday brings discovery, stories, laughter, and lots of hands-on making with a green focus. Jewish tales and heroes come to life as the kids grow into a tight little community. Time: Sundays 10:00–12:15.

II. Group (ages 7–9) – Creative making, Jewish stories, games. Expect crafty sessions, great stories, plenty of play, and a super good vibe. They’re keen to meet as many smiling little shells as possible. Time: Sundays 10:00–12:15.

III. Group (ages 10–11) – Community building, discovery, cheerful sessions. The Yam (Sea) Group forms a real mini-community where kids create, play, laugh, and explore Jewish stories, crafts, and friendship—joy guaranteed. Time: Sundays 10:00–12:15.

IV. Group (ages 12–13) – Bar/Bat Mitzvah Club (BMC): community talks and projects. For those stepping toward adulthood and curious about becoming full members of the community. Expect conversations on Jewish values and traditions, your own questions, plus games, crafts, shared thinking, experiential programs, creative challenges, and project tasks. Time: Sundays 10:00–12:15.

V. Group (ages 13–14) – MKZ: training future madrichim (youth leaders). Week by week, participants learn how to set an example and become strong leaders and educators.
