This Grassalkovich-era masterpiece is rolling out festivals, museum education sessions, and immersive events that make art and history feel alive. May: Strings and satire

May 17 opens with Klára Csordás and Quartetto Speranza in concert. A week later, Molière’s Tartuffe lands on May 24, the first of many stagings of the razor-sharp classic returning across summer and fall.

June: Big names, big garden

June 4 brings Gábor Presser with guests Ibolya Oláh and Tamás Szabó, followed on June 5 by the blockbuster musical Made in Hungária. From June 5–7, Be in the Garden! (Légy ott a kertben!) turns the palace park into themed walks and programs—perfect for exploring one of Hungary’s largest Baroque gardens. June 6 stacks up the Scene Műhely’s promenade-style Romeo and Juliet, the kids’ Castle Kids Club (Kastélylurkók Klubja) on royal coronations, plus Storytelling Suites (Mesélő lakosztályok), an interactive museum workshop for families. Coronation Weekend (Coronázási hétvége) crowns June 6–7. On June 7, the Scene Műhely stages Ervin Lázár’s The Square Circular Wood (A négyszögletű kerek erdő), and the Gödöllő Symphony Orchestra salutes Viva Italia! June 8 adds Look, Mom! (Mama, nézd!), a baby-friendly guided tour. Night of Museums (Múzeumok Éjszakája) lights up June 20. Flamenco from Andalusia blazes on June 27—twice—before Tartuffe returns June 28. From June 29 to July 3, Elemér and Friends (Elemér és barátai) runs a day camp.

July: Sisi Summer Theater takes over

ICONS Rock Symphonic (15 female artists, 15 global hits) hits July 2. The promenade Romeo and Juliet returns July 4 and 31. August to December: Brass, cinema, and encores

Open-air brass with Jugendkapelle Nersingen-Fahlheim e.V. rings out August 3. Promenade Romeo and Juliet dots August 5, 6, and 13. The garden cinema screens Beauty and the Beast (Szépség és a szörnyeteg) on August 9. Tartuffe anchors September 6 and 13, 20, and returns October 8 and 30. A film music concert lands November 15. Ervin Lázár’s The Square Circular Wood wraps the year December 13.
