Who It’s For
Children and teens ages 4–14. Whether you’re little, a tween, a teen-in-the-making, or heading toward your Bar/Bat Mitzvah, the Zsiliputi Sunday School is tailored for you. The program builds values that last a lifetime: learning about mitzvot, exploring traditions, preparing for holidays together, and growing as a real community through play and creative learning.
Group I: Ages 4–6 – “Hullám” (Wave)
Every Sunday bursts with discovery: play, laughter, and lots of crafts bring Jewish stories and heroes to life. Kids explore, listen to tales, create, and gently form a close-knit mini-community. Time: Sundays 10:00–12:15.
Group II: Ages 7–9 – Stories and Creativity
From September, expect a whirl of making, Jewish storytelling, games, and a great vibe. The team can’t wait to meet as many smiling little seashells as possible. Time: Sundays 10:00–12:15.
Group III: Ages 10–11 – Community and Discovery
The Yam group becomes a small community where kids craft, play, laugh, and explore. Jewish stories, hands-on projects, new friendships, and plenty of good cheer fill the sessions. Time: Sundays 10:00–12:15.
Group IV: Ages 12–13 – Bar/Bat Mitzvah Club (BMC)
Fall Sundays start with positive energy, laughter, and projects. For those stepping toward adulthood, this club explores what it means to become an official member of the community. Expect conversations about Jewish values and traditions, your own questions, games, crafts, shared thinking, creative challenges, experiential programs, and project work. Time: Sundays 10:00–12:15.
Group V: Ages 13–14 – MKZ Leader Training
Future madrichim train weekly to learn how to model, lead, and teach. The group studies children’s needs and development and how best to support younger kids as leaders—all in a warm Jewish spirit. Time: Sundays 10:00–12:15.
