May Highlights
May 19 kicks off with Musical Evenings with the Jubilate Women’s Choir. On May 21, Knowledge Bites – Serious Topics Made Simple presents Everyday Hassles with speaker Ibolya Görög (from $14.50). On May 22, comedian Peti Radics performs a solo show at the Nagy László City Cultural Center and Library (from $15.30). Board-game fans can enjoy a Modern Board Games Afternoon on May 23.
Pentecost in City Park (Városliget) runs May 23–24: Soulwave performs Saturday, Tomi Veréb on Sunday. May 28 features Ajka Wine Glass—wine tasting plus talk—pre-registration required, and Women and Books with Lotti Budai. On May 29, My Booted Wanderings: Csilla Molnár talks about the Blue Trail, following Pál Rockenbauer. May 30 brings The Naked Truth, a musical comedy at the Cultural Center (from $23.70). May 31 celebrates Children’s Day – Tiny Citizens’ Festival.
Summer to Autumn
June 6 offers Soul Spritz – Forest Bathing. June 13 doubles up: Lend Your Wife! (French comedy), and Túrajó Walks – Boys from the Mine, starting at the King Charles IV (IV. Károly) Chapel parking lot (from $8.30–$16.90). Bogáncs Camp for ages 8–12 runs July 6–10 at the Children’s Library. The Boys from the Mine walk returns July 11 (same prices). On August 12, The Paul Street Boys (Pannon Castle Theatre) at the City Library & Leisure Center (from $25.10).

On October 7, Knowledge Bites covers Generational Differences with Krisztián Steigervald. On November 6, Masters of Illusion features Dávid Nagy Molnár, Péter Boldog, and Botond Kelle.
