International Pole Artistic Hungary arrives in Balatonfüred on June 13–14, 2026, turning the Balatonfüred Congress Center (8230 Balatonfüred, Huray St. 3) into a two-day celebration of pole and aerial artistry. Competitors of any nationality, from any school, studio, or organization—and independent performers, too—can take the stage in pole art, glamour, aerial hoop (karika), and hammock. The doors are wide open for fresh talent and seasoned artists alike. Let’s be part of the Wonder again and celebrate together!
When, Where, How
The event runs all day on both Saturday and Sunday, June 13–14, 2026, at the Balatonfüred Congress Center, 8230 Balatonfüred, Huray Street 3. Organizers reserve the right to change the schedule and program. Accommodation and food-and-drink options are linked from the event information, so traveling artists and fans can plan an easy weekend by the lake.
Competition? More Like Self-Realization
This is less about rankings and more about revealing the self. Months of work finally meet the spotlight and the audience’s energy. You’ll give, you’ll refill. Whether you step on stage first or last, finish at the top or somewhere in the middle, the point is to pour everything out and let joy in through performance. The crowd powers you up as you dance and play; you invite them into your secrets.
What Makes a Routine “Art”
Here, art equals freedom. No compulsory elements. No costume rules. One rule only: be yourself. Beyond safe apparatus handling and category-appropriate skills, the key is owning your feelings and translating them into movement and message. Inside all of us are hidden, suppressed emotions—drama, happiness, joy, failure, and more—waiting to break free. Give them life. Unleash them in a single choreography. Ladies and gentlemen, trust yourselves, be creative, and create. Wishing everyone a rich, inspiring preparation!
How the Contest Works
Pole Artistic Hungary is an independent international and domestic competition focused on artistic self-expression and theatrical performance. It’s a single-round final, with entry decided through video applications. Categories welcome entries in pole art, glamour, aerial hoop, and hammock. The field spans all nationalities and any school, studio, or organization, along with solo registrants who simply want to step into the light.
Who’s Behind It
The event is organized by the Arts for Pole Sports Foundation (Művészetek a Rúdsportért Alapítvány, MaRA), founded in 2022 to nurture the pole-sport community through competitions, workshops, camps, and other events. The founder, Barbara Pálmaffy, has been the lead organizer of Pole Artistic Hungary since 2015, steering the platform toward greater artistry, inclusivity, and stagecraft year after year. Let’s be part of the Wonder again—and celebrate together!
