The period-perfect Ladics House pours stories with Császárné csészéje (The Empress’s Cup) on multiple dates. Guided city walks—Belvárosi barangoló—unpack the old-town architecture, while Séta a könyvtárban és a Japánkertben pairs a library tour with a visit to the Japanese Garden. La Sposa Caffè hosts Szabadság, nőiség, rock’n’roll – Pásztor Anna est on June 4. Gyula Castle guarantees programming June 5–7 and runs the crowd-favorite Gyula Border Castle Days (Gyulai Végvári Napok) July 24–26 with reenactments and living history. The castle hosts Gyulai Vár: A végzet mezeje – Mohács on June 27, revisiting the seismic 1526 battle. Night tours throughout June add torches, tales, and rampart views under the stars. Night of Museums (Múzeumok éjszakája) lights up June 20 across the town’s cultural sites.
On the Water and In the Park
Guided paddling on the Ó-Fehér-Körös threads city and nature on June 3–6 and the June 6–7 weekend. Dino Park in Gyula runs weekly blocks June 1–July 5, July 6–12, July 13–19, July 20–26, and July 27–August 2, keeping families busy with life-sized reptiles and open-air fun.
