Jóga-móka for preschoolers lights up every Thursday at 4:30 PM in Tata’s Crystal Medical Center salt room, 2890 Tata, 22 Ady Endre Street (Ady E. utca 22). Each kids’ yoga class runs 45 minutes, while parents get a pocket of downtime. Instructor: Ildikó Németh.
What Is Kids’ Yoga?
Movement takes center stage, but every moment is wrapped in play and story. Since stories shape a young child’s values, each session unfolds within a story frame. From the outside, it looks like dramatic play—no costumes, just intentional movement with full immersion: movement, play, and storytelling flow together for 45 minutes.
Roots and Flow
Yoga isn’t a religion or a sport. Born in India, this millennia-old movement system has evolved but stayed natural and simple, mirroring nature. Animal-inspired poses form the base, building into sequences and trickier variations. Throughout the class, the teacher chants rhymes, sings, and recites, guiding correct movement along the way.
