The Budapest Jazz Club is rolling out a full-bodied 2026 calendar in its high-spec concert hall on Hollán Ernő Street, welcoming fans of quality live music with a blend of Hungarian heavy-hitters and international stars. The retro-tinged café and modern bistro are worth a daytime drop-in, not just for the nightly concerts. Main shows kick off at 20:00, while the wildly popular jam sessions run Tuesday through Saturday from 22:00. Address: 1136 Budapest, District 13, Hollán Ernő u. 7. June Highlights

June starts strong on 06.10 with Budateher Jazz Night: Gina Kanizsa: Vocalese, followed by Wednesday Open Jam led by the Gábor Kollmann Quartet. On 06.11, BJC Café Jam hosts the Gábor Juhász Trio, and the FIDELIO Jazz Night brings the Balázs Bágyi New Quartet. The Harmónia Jazzműhely (Harmony Jazz Workshop) series presents Jazzation on 06.12, while the late-night Free BJC Jam Session is led by Sándor Molnár & Friends. On 06.13, another free jam features the István Gyárfás Trio. Also that day: The First 50…—a musical celebration with friends—and the Kollektív Alternatív Zeneműhely (Collective Alternative Music Workshop) closes the season with a year-end concert.

Mid-month, Wednesday Open Jam returns on 06.17 with the Péter Pintér Trio. On 06.18, BJC Café Jam spotlights the Noémi Nagy Quartet, and the Bartók Conservatory (Bartók Konzi) end-of-year exam concerts begin, continuing on 06.19 alongside a Free BJC Jam Session by the Károly Gáspár Trio. On 06.20, Harmónia Jazzműhely pairs Luiza Zan with the István Gyárfás Trio; the night’s late jam belongs to the János Egri Trio.

The LFZE (Liszt Academy) Open Jam with the Levente Bédy Trio lands on 06.23, sharing the date with Stella Jazz Night: Organ Station. On 06.24, expect Wednesday Open Jam: Iván Nagy Classic Jam and a set from Fröx Trio. 06.25 doubles up with BJC Café Jam: Gábor Juhász Trio and Ticketmaster.hu presents Marcus Lee Trio — Old Songs album launch. Close the month on 06.30 with LFZE Open Jam: Dóra Moldovai Quartet and ALERANT Jazz Night: Budapest Bossa Nova.

Summer Sessions

July opens on 07.03 with the Frankie Látó Quartet. The BJC Music Camp runs 07.07–07.09, bookended by the Attila Kiss Band on 07.09 and the Gypsy Jazz Band on 07.10. On 07.16, Egri Jr. Trio features Attila László.

August centers on The Budapest Jazz Club Presents: Malomvölgy Festival (Mill Valley Festival), a three-day run from 08.13 to 08.15. Expect an outdoor spirit channeled through BJC’s curatorial lens.

Autumn and Winter

The calendar stretches deep into the year, culminating on 11.22 with Vilmos Gryllus: Winter Concert.
